On average, UK employees rate their happiness working from home (WFH) at 6.6/10, rising to 7.1/10 for those in the South East, dropping to 6.2/10 for those in the North East and Northern Ireland, finds a poll of 3,500 workers by insolvency practitioners, Hudson Weir.
According to its Work from Home Happiness Index, 66% say they work longer hours WFH. Some 54% take fewer breaks than they would do in the office, while the longest employees go without setting foot outside is 3.6 days in a row.
