Sixty-four per cent of mid-level and senior managers feel uncomfortable talking to HR about personal development – 15% wouldn’t reach out for fear of being seen as an unqualified or ineffective leader, according to research from digital coaching platform, CoachHub.

Some 42% of respondents said their HR department didn’t prioritise personalised professional development beyond their initial onboarding, while 23% received no support when transitioning into leadership....
