Samantha Brightwell

My career started as a registered nurse and I worked clinically for 18 years before moving into a wider corporate role. I am a qualified mentor, coach and positive psychology practitioner. I have an MSc in Positive psychology & positive coaching. I have worked with a wide range of individuals and teams within the NHS to date, enabling them to explore career and personal development, resilience and helping to develop confidence and identify new ways to approach and deal with challenging situations. I have a special interest in menopause coaching and guiding coachees to positive outlooks.

Coaching approach

It is important for me to form a trusting coaching relationship with my coachees, building a safe space with clear boundaries where challenge raises awareness and gives choice. I believe that giving people time and space to formulate their thoughts and ideas is vital. I use various coaching models to bring structure to conversations and incorporate appropriate techniques which enable coachees to explore and develop, depending on their individual needs. My sessions are virtual at this current time.
