I am a highly experienced and credible leadership and executive coach. My practical experience as a senior leader for over 20 years in roles in the public and education sectors underpins my coaching practice. My focus throughout my career has been people development including facilitating learning for all levels of staff, corporate coaching, leadership development, organisational development, and supporting organisational strategy through developing people. I hold a Postgrad Diploma in Coaching Psychology, a MA in Management Learning, am a Myers Briggs accredited facilitator. I am a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), and a member of both the Association for Coaching and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

My coaching style is based on psychological approaches to meet client needs. The basis of my approach is really listening and hearing the client and their needs, and using of helpful, simple questions that assist the client to move forward. I may draw on a range of approaches including cognitive behavioural, gestalt, psychodynamic, humanistic, clean language and a range of other tools and approaches if these are helpful to where the client is and what is important to them. I use my intuitive approach to work in an engaging yet challenging way. I have a direct ‘non-nonsense approach’ combined with a relaxed and informal style which focuses on positive outcomes for the client.
