Coaching approach

My approach is focused on goals and solutions, not on problems, is based on constructivism philosophy, cognitive behaviour, and focuses on the present and the future. The synergistic relationship between Coach and Client can allow incredible things to happen. A coach supplies accountability, support and perspective. The metaphor of a Dolphin describes my intuitive, gentle nudging explorative questions, exploring the terrain, initially through the same misty lens. I will be listening, whilst swimming alongside and looking through a clearer lens at the issue. There may be times I will swim ahead with advice and mentoring. There will a time when I will swim behind when all is well. Like dolphins I will be very loyal dependable establish strong bonds in the form of a partnership. Like dolphins I will stay the course with those that need support even when the waters become turbulent.
