Kunku Soota is an experienced, flexible and innovative organisational development, cross cultural consultant and executive coach. Committed to working to high standards to add value in organisations and enable people to manage change and improve continuously In recent years Kunku has coached over 100 leaders in the public and private sectors. The work has been in the context of supporting the organisation to shape and renew itself. Career History 1980s: Based in India and employed in academic learning, publishing and the British Council. Kunku managed a variety of operational functions that included commissioning authors; project, budget and contract management. 1990s: Moved to the UK and gained experience in specialist equalities, training and management roles and in 1991 was appointed corporate training manager at Leeds City Council . She continued to lead on organisational change as Head of Organisation Development, The Anchor Trust and later Head of Human Resources, Berkshire Social Services; 2000s Held senior management posts in both corporate and operational roles. Including Director of Social Services (Warwickshire Social Services)and Head of Corporate Strategy, Reading Borough Council.. In May 2006, Kunku was founder Director Kudos Consulting, specialising in organisational change, executive coaching and career management services. Kunku is involved with voluntary work both in India and the UK. Her focus is the empowerment of women and girl children as well as capacity building for the organisations that support them. She draws from her rich experience to coach, inform and develop her clients who include: chief executives; chief operating officers; operational directors; heads of strategy and senior professional managers across a spectrum of specialisms.
