Coaching approach

I use a variety of disciplines and approaches to inform my coaching practice and am trained in psychometric instruments and 360 degree feedback sessions. Clients find they can think more clearly about issues that have perplexed them, both in work and in those outside issues that impact on performance at work. I usually agree a series of 4 sessions with a client and discuss with them what they want to achieve. Within each session, usually 2 hours if face to face, but one hour on the phone/SKYPE, we check what are the urgent things that need attention and whether satisfactory progress is being made. I might use thinking from appreciative inquiry, solution focused thinking, transactional analysis, NLP, the Grow model - but whatever model is used, it is for the client to assess how far it helps. I support and challenge appropriately and improve both the client's state of mind and their actions.
