I have an holistic approach to coaching and have developed a style that incorporates previous business experience as a manager and leader in a variety of organisations into my coaching practice. So I work around a framework for coaching based on setting objectives for coaching and supporting my learners to achieve their objectives. I bring to coaching a variety of tools and techniques such as MBTI and Situation Leadership that are relevant and pertinant to the specific needs of my learner. I have strong listening skills and use effective questioning to help people to raise their awareness and enable them to make good decisions about their own development. So I have a non directive approach and encourage the people I work with to start to self coach and take ownership of their own development. I do hold people to their actions and review and monitor these strongly.
