Coaching approach

I work with people to devise with them a course of action and/or way of being that keeps them travelling towards what they want to achieve. These aims can vary, from issues around worklife satisfaction to performance goals in their organisation. And they change over time. From a gestalt basis I work in a holistic way to ensure coachees bring all related factors into full awareness, and I work with them to devise and monitor the success of alternative approaches. The approach along the way depends on what will be most productive but includes a balanced combination of challenge with support, questions to encourage thinking differently, activities to encourage doing differently and appropriate feedback to enable review. And it always includes noticing what is already working well. Client, "I trust Julie, whether she speaks or stays quiet. She helps me hear myself."
