Profile

I am an experienced international leader, coach and developer of people. I retired in 2008 after a long career with Diageo PLC as a senior Human Resources executive, having held roles as a member of business leadership teams in Europe, USA and Latin America, as well as corporate management and organisation development roles with a global remit. I am originally from South Africa, where I spent 10 years with SABMiller before moving to the UK in the late eighties. I am now an independent consultant and have a particular interest in individual and leadership development. I am a Visiting Tutor at Henley Business School and a member of the core team which supports their popular Leadership Programme. I had many years of experience coaching senior leaders in the corporate environment. I was certified by YSC Business Psychologists as a coaching capability trainer during my time at Diageo and currently receive regular coaching supervision from a qualified YSC coaching supervisor. I have an Honours Degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa and am a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Full Member of their Special Interest Group in Coaching Psychology.
