Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway has over 20 years’ experience as an executive coach, thinking partner, facilitator and consultant to a wide variety of organisations in the private, public and third sectors. She believes that many of those who lead in our "24/7" world are often overwhelmed with information and ideas and often need less input, not more, from a coach. Clients come to her for what one described as “space to breathe”: the deep, uninterrupted attention that restores them to a state of calm effectiveness and creativity, and can often pave the way for radical transformation and a step-change in performance. A graduate of King’s College, Cambridge and INSEAD (both the MBA and the Masters in Coaching and Consulting for Change programmes), Anne is a fluent French speaker with a background in general management and international HR, as well as small business management.

Coaching approach

As a coach Anne draws extensively on the Thinking Environment® model developed by Nancy Kline of Time to Think, where she is a founder member of the Global Faculty, supervising and assessing the work of student coaches seeking accreditation. Rooted in an attitude of genuine non-judgment and encouragement, a coaching session with Anne enables clients to obtain real clarity for themselves about key issues; to make sense of patterns they may not have had time to notice; to regain perspective; to set goals and generate new ideas; and, with the aid of a few focused questions, to remove any assumptions that may be limiting their progress.
