One in 12 (8%) of UK adults, or around one million people, have used generative AI for work, according the Deloitte’s 2023 Digital Consumer Trends report. The survey of 4,150 UK adults aged 16-75 found that half (52%) of people in the UK had heard of generative AI.
Some 30% of those who had tried a generative AI tool said they had used it once or twice, while 28% of respondents said they used it frequently. Nine per cent said they used an AI tool daily or more often.
