FEMALE RETURNERS STRUGGLE AFTER CAREER BREAK

Taking a career break makes women less confident at work and reduces their self-assurance, finds a poll by Reed.co.uk and Research Without Barriers. Some 69% of women have acknowledged that career breaks have made them less confident in their careers and 67% of women are afraid to negotiate their pay, which the research identified as “diminished self-assurance” following a professional gap.
