Flexible working can often be the solution for clients seeking greater work-life balance. However, requests for flexible working aren’t always granted, and many of those who work flexibly are discriminated against and disadvantaged, suggests a poll.
Half of working mothers don’t receive the flexibility they request at work, while 86% of those who do work flexibly face discrimination and disadvantage at work, finds a survey of almost 13,000 working mums conducted by the TUC and flexible working campaigner, Mother Pukka.
