Forget aligning leaders and company culture – leaders should instead be supplying what’s missing, suggests a study. The researchers investigated which combinations of leadership and business culture would bring the biggest financial benefits nine months on. They asked members of 120 management teams in technology firms to rate their CEOs on task leadership and relational leadership, and their organisation’s culture on the same dimensions.
