Twenty years ago, only a quarter of households had a home computer, the term ‘internet’ was just being defined, and the International Coach Federation (ICF) was born in a back garden. UK ICF President Joy Harcup, in her opening speech to the 2015 UK ICF Conference, asked what the next 20 years might bring. Perhaps coaching would be subsumed into other learning interventions? Might only qualified psychologists be able to offer it?
