The Society for Coaching Psychology (SCP), the Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology of South Africa (SIOPSA) and the SIOPSA Interest Group of Coaching and Consulting Psychology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) acknowledging a desire to develop coaching psychology.
Professor Stephen Palmer, president of the SCP, said: “Today is an historic occasion. This MOU demonstrates how the international psychology community are working together to develop coaching psychology as a profession and scientific discipline, underpinned by theory, research and practice”.
