Psychology gets MOU
The Society for Coaching Psychology (SCP), the Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology of South Africa (SIOPSA) and the SIOPSA Interest Group of Coaching and Consulting Psychology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) acknowledging a desire to develop coaching psychology.
Professor Stephen Palmer, president of the SCP, said: "Today is an historic occasion. This MOU demonstrates how the international psychology community are working together to develop coaching psychology as a profession and scientific discipline, underpinned by theory, research and practice".
