Attachment theory can help leaders “develop greater attachment security, bring more coherence to their narratives and find their path to more authentic and mature leadership as a result,” according to David Drake of the Center for Narrative Coaching.
Writing in the International Coaching Psychology Review, 4( 1), he noted that 55 per cent of children are “securely attached”. “Given that these children are the workers and leaders of tomorrow, it is imperative that we take notice of what this figure means for our organisations.”
