I worked in education and manufacturing before joining KPMG, where I held a variety of HR positions in various locations, including Birmingham, Bristol and London. When I left I was head of HR for the UK Tax Practice which had approximately 2500 employees. I supported the implementation of Global values in the UK, project managed the introduction of a global electronic performance management system and was a member of the core team which achieved external recognition for the firm as an employer of choice. I developed talent management processes and programmes for high potentials, including coaching and 360 feedback. I joined Basis in 2007 and have worked on a variety of client assignments including leadership development programmes and Executive Coaching. I have an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching from OCM, MCIPD, certified to use variety of psychometrics eg SHL, TalentQ

I am an enthusiastic and supportive coach and I use the coachees agenda to help them become stronger performers in their business, whatever that may be. I am very clear that responsibility for change sits with the client, and my role is to facilitate that change. My friendly and flexible style enables me to build rapport quickly and encourages coachees to trust me and to share their development needs, limiting beliefs and other issues which prevent them from performing at optimal levels. I will often encourage them to identify the stakeholders in situations and to put themselves in their shoes in order to consider issues from a wider range of perspectives, in order to develop new and different approaches to problems and relationships. I use a balance of reflection, psychometric instruments and tools and techniques to address my clients' issues and to help them become more effective.
