My background is in the HR and Learning & Development field and I have been coaching for over 8 years. I work with individuals and teams in businesses to enable them to set and achieve their personal and organisational goals more effectively. I have diploma's in Corporate & Executive Coaching and Personal Performance Coaching from The Coaching Academy and I currently run their Coaching Through Change programme as an associate trainer. I am both and NLP practitioner and a Myers-Briggs practitioner. My focus for coaching centres around enabling people to develop their interpersonal skills in order to build more effective relationships at work. The ultimate goal when I am working with a client is to enable them to become more successful in their career (be that their long-term career direction or their current role).

I work with my clients to help them become more self-aware and to help them identify the path to their goals that works for them and their organisation. I have developed these skills over time through my practical experience not only as a coach but also as a manager and a trainer. This has help me to develop a “toolkit” of coaching tools, techniques and strategies which I have found to work well. This gives me the ability to select the right approach to take with my coachee to help them see their situation from a different perspective and therefore find a new way forward. Having been a coachee myself throughout my career, I am able to empathise with my coachee’s and to understand the process that they go through when working with a coach. This means that I can adapt my style to suit my coachee’s preferred ways of working which ultimately makes for a successful relationship.
