Steve has been a GP for over 20 years. After holding a number of leadership positions within the NHS he decided to focus on supporting others in their development. He gained an ILM Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring and then started his own coaching practice in 2007. He works with individuals and teams, mainly in the public sector. He has found that his skills and style works well with a range of clients. He has a Solutions Focus Professional Certificate.

Steve’s preferred approach is to use Solutions Focused coaching. He uses this to ensure that clients focus on what they want, recognise what is already happening and use their resources to the maximum in order to achieve full potential. He has a relaxed, pragmatic style and seeks to challenge clients within a safe coaching relationship. He aims to ensure that individual clients coaching goals are firmly linked to organisational goals.
