As a coach, my main approach is to bring about change in behaviour and performance in my coaching clients. I do not use a single model to achieve this change, such a GROW, but through a powerful combination of approaches that will serve the client’s interests and help them achieve their goals. I try to bring together concepts and tools from a diverse range of current thinking in the fields of management, leadership, OD, learning, and coaching. I see my role to support my client’s journey, not to impose or cajole them into actions they do not wish to take, rather to seek their commitment to changes. I maintain my professional development through CPD and professional memberships, and have professional indemnity insurance cover. I retain a supervisor to sustain my own coaching practise.
