Coaching approach

As a trained management consultant and coach, I draw on a number of approaches but my objective is always the same: to help my clients to achieve change. I often take a solution-focused approach and the and aim to help clients to find their own solutions through a mix of support and challenge. I am also comfortable with putting on my ‘consultant hat’ and offering suggestions and hypotheses, if that is what is wanted. My natural style, from a position of enthusiasm and optimism, is to help each individual to build on their existing strengths and, through that process, to learn how best to draw on their and others’ resources to meet their particular challenges. I am qualified to use a range of psychometric instruments and diagnostic questionnaires and particularly enjoy working with people who are in career transition.
