I am a highly experienced coach and psychologist with extensive experience in both the organisation and clinical fields since qualifying in 2003. I am a qualified assessor for development and assessment centres and have worked in the UK, Europe and Australia delivering assessment and development services to senior staff over a range of sectors including NATO (Assistant Secretary General), NSW Public Sector (Deputy Secretary, CEO and Director levels), Europol and the European Commission. I have also coached staff from first line managers through Global General Managers to Chief Executives. My psychological work has included the following: • Coaching of Chief Executives of Local Health Authorities. • Coaching of senior staff within Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Hospitals. • Coaching of senior staff within Dorset Police & Crime Commission.

Colin’s coaching style is to facilitate exploration of the main issues facing an Executive to help them clarify that they are making the necessary decisions and taking the required actions. He helps them identify blind spots and encourages them to engage with a range of possibilities, recognise their current limitations and continually develop their leadership style. He provides a space for reflection and is both a sounding board for ideas and a challenging presence.
