Coming from a strong leisure and business and vocational training background, Chris has had over 15 years of success in enabling the training, coaching and development of individuals and organisations. Losing 4 stone in weight, regaining his fitness and embarking on a new career he became interested in coaching and success literature and has read many books and attended numerous events and training seminars covering coaching, NLP, leadership and personal development. He has worked in and with diverse organisations such as leisure service providers, private businesses, training providers, private health clubs, local authorities, vocational training organisations, schools and colleges in various roles all with the foc.us of support and development. He started his work life with 8 years in the insurance services sector

As a coach Chris predominantly employs the GROW/OSKAR models of coaching in his sessions together with elements of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Cognitive Behaviour Coaching. However acknowledges that as there are many coaching models out there he will ensure that the right model is selected based on the client’s own needs first and not on the coach’s preference only. Chris is passionate about quality leadership and the promotion of understanding the differences between leadership and management. Through coaching both individuals and integrating coaching into the work place as a cultural shift within organisations, Chris is determined to be part of the movement towards a more collaborative way of leading and managing people that ensures an effective outcome for both the individual and the organisation.
