Carole Pemberton works with individuals who are making the transition into new leadership roles, and supports people in ensuring they are making career decisions that are aligned with their strengths and values. She also works with organisations who are wanting to develop internal coaching capability on a sustainable basis. She is a Professional Certified Coach (ICF) and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching. She is a Faculty member of the Academy of Executive Coaching and a Fellow of the CIPD. She works with a wide range of private and public sector organisations ranging from the NHS to RBS, Cabinet Office to William Grant Distillers. She is the author of a number of management, career and coaching books including ‘Coaching to Solutions.’

My coaching style is to offer a safe space in which individuals can develop new behaviours which are required by new challenges. I look to build confidence in both applying strengths to new situations and moving outside established strengths. I draw on a wide range of coaching approaches depending on the needs and preferences of individual clients, but my roots are in the importance of establishing a trusting relationship from which challenge can be given in a spirit of collaborative working. I also draw on my belief in coaching as a solution focussed working relationship.
