I begin with the belief that each individual has within them the potential to address the issues they face, and that my role is to help them realise that potential, and then apply it to best effect. I am able to provide spontaneous and frank feedback, which many Senior Executives do certainly not receive from their colleagues. I see my role as creating the environment in which the client can look at issues from a variety of perspectives, and explore the benefits and consequences of any choice. My role in this environment is to test and challenge, and occasionally to provide alternative approaches based on my own experience. As an outsider, my viewpoint is objective,. I try to help clients identify success models which they can re-use, and at the same time discourage them from remaining in a ‘comfort zone’. However, they remain responsible for whatever changes they chose to make.
