A highly experienced business/coaching and chartered psychologist and a Master Practitioner of NLP, Mike has worked with a cross section of industry in the UK and Europe on a range of coaching issues including leadership development, performance, relationships and team building, work-life balance and career management. Mike received his first coaching training in the mid 1980s and has continued his professional coaching development since then with Coachville, UK Coaching Academy, Newcastle College, the CIPD and the BPS . A founding member of the Association for Coaching and the BPS's Special Group in Coaching Psychology, he has coached several hundred clients with over 2500 coaching hours. He is also a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, A Fellow of the CMI, a Principal Member of the ABP, a Member of ISMA, and of a number of other US & European bodies.

Mike has an eclectic approach depending on the client’s needs. As a coaching psychologist with a Full level B certification in Occupational Testing, he has a wide range of diagnostic tools including personality, emotional intelligence and leadership style measures, some of which are180/360 reports, which he uses to accelerate the coaching process. He also draws on a number of psychological models as appropriate including TA, CBT and NLP. His style can be summed up as challenging and supportive.
