EMCC, AC and ICF form historic Global Alliance

By Liz Hall Coaches have broadly welcomed the Global Alliance formed by three of the industry’s leading professional bodies. The news of the formation of the Global Coaching & Mentoring Alliance by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) and the Association for Coaching (AC), broke at the EMCC’s annual conference in Bilbao, Spain, on 17 November (see photo), where it was made clear that it is an alliance, not a merger.
