Richard has over 30 years leadership and management experience. He is regarded for his breadth and depth of business knowledge. When clients are being coached by Richard they have the feeling of being listened to, of considering new options, a sense of being challenged, and being inspired to act. As well as face to face coaching he coaches several managers who are based overseas via Skype or the phone. His book 'Creating a Purposeful Life' was published in June 2012. He is now creating materials for a book on Collaborative Leadership.

Richard creates a safe environment for his clients to share their aspirations and their concerns. He is not wedded to any particular coaching model, as he flexes his approach to match the needs of the client. Similarly, although he is a Master NLP Practitioner this is not paraded in front of the client but used to enrich the questions he asks.
