My approach to coaching is integrative, drawing chiefly on the Thinking Environment (Time to Think) and Solution Focused approaches, along with a multitude of tools when needed from my coaching toolkit. Originally trained as a psychotherapist, which I believe helps me to work effectively with a very wide spectrum of people. Extensive experience in working with clients at critical career points career: senior managers transitioning to board; managers delivering change; struggling entrepreneurs; lawyers billing £millions, and helped these and many others using highly generative, client centred & solution focused thinking, to successfully grapple with challenges and rewards that these situations bring. As a trainer I've worked right across the staff, management and leadership development spectrum, and as a facilitator with all kinds of groups, from traumatised staff following armed robberies, through to facilitating impactful leadership programmes and team offsites that have helped to transform good leaders and teams into great ones.
