Julia is Learning and Development specialist who has been coaching for eleven years, is an accredited Senior Practitioner Coach with the EMCC and is a Coaching Supervisor. She has worked with senior leaders, middle-managers and future leaders in both the Public and Private Sectors. Alongside her coaching work she is a visiting tutor at Henley Business School. Her special area of interest is self-awareness and how to understand all aspects of our identity to be at our very best in all aspects of our lives. Therefore, her work focuses on behaviours in the work-place and how these behaviours impact those around us. This work has led to Julia undertaking a PhD project to explore the role of Self-Awareness in the development of the coach. In addition to her MSc in Executive Coaching, Julia is a NLP Master Practitioner, an accredited Time to Think Coach and is BPS Level A and B certified.

Julia’s style is honest and challenging, and she enjoys the opportunity to increase business effectiveness through individual’s realising their own potential and developing self-confidence to succeed. Her work focuses on helping her clients gain greater self-awareness, encouraging them to explore hidden potential and aspects of their character to be at their best. She prides herself on the ability to build strong rapport and empathy with clients and ensures, before taking on an assignment both parties are content, comfortable and clear with the relationship. Julia draws on a wide range of psychological dimensions in her coaching work; in particular Time to Think, Gestalt and psychodynamic approaches. It is important to Julia that she delivers value to the client and so operates with awareness of the whole system within which the client operates.
