WEF 2020: ICELAND LEADS WORLD ON GENDER PARITY

The top country for gender parity in 2019 was once again Iceland (for the 11th year running), according to the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Gender Gap Report 2020. The global top ten are Iceland with a score of 0.877 (1 equals gender parity), Norway, Finland, Sweden, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Ireland (now seventh, up two places, with a score of 0.798), Spain, Rwanda and Germany, with the most-improved countries being Albania, Ethiopia, Mali, Mexico and Spain.
