A host of coaching and mentoring practitioners received accolades for their contributions in the Coaching at Work 2019 Awards, in what was one of the toughest years for judging given the high quality of those nominated.
The winners were: Jonathan Passmore, Eve Turner & Marta Filipiak (Best Article/s); Charmaine Kwame (Internal Coaching/Mentoring Champion); Jeremy Gomm (External Coaching/Mentoring Champion); Peter Welch (Contributions to Coaching Supervision); Fiona Adamson (Lifetime Achievement), and David Gray (Posthumous Lifetime Achievement).
Gina Lodge, CEO at coach training and consultancy business the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) announced the winners and those highly commended at the awards ceremony and drinks reception held at the end of the annual Coaching at Work conference in London on 3 July. The AoEC sponsored the awards reception in addition to being one of the conference gold sponsors.
Lodge said: “The Coaching at Work awards ceremony celebrated the significant contributions of thought leadership to the coaching industry. The awards followed an inspirational, content-rich conference day with exceptional organisation, as we have come to expect from the leading coaching publication.”
Coaching at Work editor Liz Hall said, “It’s been exceptionally tough for the judges to choose winners this year, particularly in the Internal and External Champion categories. And again and again, we heard about the generosity, humility and passion for the profession that many on the shortlist displayed. We should all be proud!”
