BP chief aided by coaching

BP’s boss apparently received coaching to help him deal with a grilling by angry senators in the US, according to British newspapers, including the Observer and Daily Telegraph. As Coaching at Work went to press, BP chief executive Tony Hayward faced hostile questioning on live television from US politicians over the environmental disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. Hayward was due to be the primary witness at a special Senate hearing on 17 June, where he was to give evidence under oath.
